The National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges' 97th Annual Conference
The National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (NCBJ) will host its 97th Annual Conference “Blues, Barbecue & Bankruptcy” from October 11–14, 2023 at the J.W. Marriott in Austin, Texas. This conference will provide coverage of numerous bankruptcy topics through discussions with judges, bankruptcy professionals and academics in the field.
Kirkland partners Chris Koenig, Nicole Greenblatt and David Nemecek will be participating as panelists. Chris Koenig will participate in the “Cryptocurrency and the Code” session, which will highlight key aspects of Chapter 11 cases involving cryptocurrency companies. Nicole Greenblatt will participate in the “ABA Luncheon Program: Unreasonable Restraints: Considering Contractual Restrictions on Bankruptcy Relief,” which will discuss certain provisions in relation to a debtor’s filing for bankruptcy. David Nemecek will participate in the “Liability Management or Opportunity Run Amok: Debt Restructuring Transactions 2.0” session, which will discuss liability management transactions trends and related subject matter.
