Understanding the BBA Partnership Audit Rules 2025
The Practising Law Institute will host “Understanding the BBA Partnership Audit Rules 2025” taking place at PLI New York in New York City and online on April 1, 2025. The program will focus on the unique procedural and strategic considerations for partnership audits under the rules of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015 (“BBA”), addressing issues that are critical in transactions, audits and administrative adjustment requests.
Kirkland partner Richard A. Husseini will speak on the “BBA Partnership Audit Rules in the Transactional Context” panel. This session will address BBA issues in the transactional context, including indemnities for the imputed underpayment, and the application of the BBA when a partnership liquidates.
