On June 22nd and July 6th, Kirkland partners Jennifer Lee and Maggie Flores will participate in The Fourth Floor’s “Dissecting the SPAC Mania” Part 1: Nuts and Bolts and Part 2: Tips for Surviving a de-SPAC Transaction.

Part 1: Nuts and Bolts (22 June 2021)

SPACs are pervasive in the investing landscape (and financial journalism). This discussion aims to demystify the SPAC by providing an overview of the SPAC and all of its phases — from IPO to the “de-SPAC” transaction and positioning them against alternative financing transactions (including pros and cons). The program discussed recent developments in the SPAC market and make some predictions on where the market goes from here. CLE credit was available.

Part 2: Tips for Surviving a de-SPAC Transaction (6 July 2021)

The second session of "Dissecting the SPAC Mania" builds on "Part 1: Nuts and Bolts.” Speakers share their experiences surviving a de-SPAC transaction and will provide insights and practical advice on how to manage both internal and external constituents and leverage third party resources to consummate a successful transaction. CLE credit was available.
