Austin Brown is a real estate associate in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Austin represents clients in a wide range of financing and real estate transactions, including the acquisition and financing of commercial real estate. He advises private equity sponsors, public sector entities, real estate funds, and real estate investment trusts throughout the United States.
Austin serves as legal counsel to the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago managing the organization’s operational legal affairs and providing advice on a variety of legal topics, with a focus on the business operations of the DNCC.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Austin worked as a commercial finance and real estate associate in the Nashville, Tennessee office of Bass, Berry & Sims PLC.
