Julia Danforth is a partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her principal areas of practice are capital markets transactions, corporate governance and compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. Her capital markets experience includes the representation of both issuers and underwriters in public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, and she regularly advises public companies on governance and SEC compliance and disclosure matters.
