Overview
Meghan Dolan is a partner in the Government & Internal Investigations Group in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Meghan advises organizations and individuals on DOJ and SEC enforcement actions, internal investigations, and compliance matters, focusing on global anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, and trade sanctions regulations. Meghan has extensive experience helping clients to assess and mitigate international risks. She has conducted internal investigations around the world for clients in a wide variety of industries, including private equity, banking, real estate, pharmaceuticals, and retail. She also regularly advises on cross-border transactional due diligence and on developing and implementing effective international compliance programs.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Meghan’s representatives matters included:
Advising a prominent publicly traded alternative asset management firm on FCPA, sanctions, and other international risk issues in hundreds of cross-border transactions.
Representing U.S.-based alternative asset management firm in industry-wide SEC FCPA investigation involving allegations interactions with Sovereign Wealth Funds.
Representing senior executive of Chinese subsidiary of U.S.-listed cosmetics company in DOJ and SEC investigation involving potential violations of the FCPA in China.
Advising a prominent U.S. real estate investment firm in connection with government of Brazil’s anti-corruption investigation into real estate investment industry.
