Since joining Kirkland, Kevin has been involved in the following matters:

• Represented private equity fund in the acquisition, joint venture and financing of $160 million shopping mall.
• Represented CyrusOne in $687 million CMBS loan for a data center located in Texas.
• Represented private equity firm on the $109.5 million financing in connection with a sale-leaseback transaction for a national retailer.
• Represented GLP Capital Partners (GCP) on a $126 million loan with Barings LLC as lender, which was used to finance a portfolio of six industrial assets located in Texas and California as part of its lease to core portfolio.
• Represented a U.S. real estate investor in $153 million acquisition financing of a U.S. industrial portfolio.
• Represented a U.S. real estate investor in the origination of a $95 million mezzanine loan and preferred equity investment in connection with a mixed-use condominium project in Virginia.
• Represented a U.S. real estate investor in $260 refinancing of an industrial portfolio located in Florida and Texas.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Kevin was involved in the following matters:

• Represented a U.S. real estate investor in $176 million acquisition financing of a luxury hotel in Dallas, Texas.
• Represented sovereign wealth fund in $125 million investment in a U.S. student housing portfolio.
• Represented a U.S. private equity fund in $796.5 million acquisition financing of a multifamily portfolio in Southeastern U.S.
• Represented U.S. private equity fund in $341 million acquisition financing of an industrial portfolio in Southwestern U.S.
• Represented U.S. private equity fund in $539 million refinancing of five shopping malls located in California, Ohio and Washington.
• Represented Canadian real estate company in the $1.4 billion refinancing of the largest U.S. shopping mall.
• Represented a U.S. investment bank in the origination of a $87.5 million mortgage and mezzanine construction loan in connection with historic building in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
• Represented U.S. investment bank in $98 million bulk purchase of condominium units in Las Vegas, Nevada.
