Justin Garfinkle is a Technology & IP Transactions associate in Kirkland & Ellis LLP’s Chicago office. He advises on the intellectual property, technology and commercial aspects of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, financings and licensing deals.
Justin represents private equity sponsors, public and private companies and technology investors across industries such as software, artificial intelligence, media, semiconductors, telecommunications, fintech, biotechnology, insurance and aerospace. His experience includes advising on high-profile music catalog acquisitions, strategic AI investments and transactions involving emerging technologies, including electric aerospace, photonic computing and biotech solutions.
