• Acting for a multinational telecommunications company in its defence of an SEP infringement and global FRAND licensing action in the English High Court and co-ordinating with parallel U.S. and China proceedings.
• Acting for leading medical device and eye care company in UK and pan-European litigation relating to laser systems for cataract surgery.
• Representing a global software company in relation to a Part 8 Claim against a telecommunications company in the UK High Court.
• Represented Indian medical device company in patent infringement proceedings in the English High Court brought by a U.S.-based medical device company in relation to transcatheter heart valve technology.
• Represented multinational telecommunications company in its UK defence of a SEP infringement claim and global FRAND licensing action.
• Represented a global extractives company in respect of internal and governmental investigations into alleged bribery and corruption conducted by the UK Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Australian Federal Police.
• Represented a global manufacturing group in litigation in the High Court in relation to an €800m debt restructuring.
• Assisted with a number of Hague Evidence Convention applications and Letters of Request to the English High Court for assistance with foreign proceedings.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Ashley worked on the following matters:

• Represented international diamond company in relation to proceedings brought against it alleging a breach of Agency Regulations and claiming multi-million pound compensation.
• Represented a former trustee of a Bermuda Trust in respect of fraud allegations.
