Xiao-Hong Jing is a partner in the Investment Funds Regulatory Solutions Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Xiao-Hong’s practice focuses on counseling private fund sponsors and asset managers on a broad range of compliance, regulatory, transactional and legal matters affecting their asset management businesses, including:
- SEC registration, exemptions and ongoing compliance and disclosure
- Fund formation, marketing and investments
- Mergers, acquisitions and restructurings involving asset managers
- SEC examinations and investigations
Prior to joining Kirkland, Xiao-Hong served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of several private funds and counseled on issues related to the registration, structure and operations of advisory businesses. Xiao-Hong started her legal career in private practice where she served as counsel to investment advisers and investment companies.
