Matthew Jobson
Overview
Matt Jobson is an investment funds partner in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Matt trained at a Magic Circle firm in London and has also spent time practising in the Middle East.
Matt represents sponsors in relation to the structuring, formation and operation of private investment funds with a focus on real assets, including infrastructure, transportation and real estate. He has extensive experience across all the major alternative asset classes, advising on a variety of commingled and fund-like structures, including funds-of-one, separate managed accounts, co-investments and joint ventures.
Matt has represented, among others, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Oaktree Capital, Schroders, Heitman, UBS Asset Management, M&G, Cairn Capital, AXA Infrastructure, CDPQ, Ivanhoe Cambridge and AIMCo.

- A U.S. headquartered sponsor on its full range of open and closed-ended global infrastructure, maritime and transportation funds.
- A U.S. headquartered sponsor on its full range of open and closed-ended European and Asian core and opportunistic real estate funds.
- A U.S. headquartered sponsor on a closed-ended European value-add real estate fund.
- A UK headquartered sponsor on an open-ended European hotel leasing fund.
- A U.S. headquartered sponsor on their pan-European programmatic joint ventures focussing on logistics real estate assets.
- Various Canadian pension plans on their primaries, secondaries, co-investments and separate managed accounts.
