Margarita Karkantzou is an associate in the Antitrust & Competition Team based in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. She advises clients on a wide range of competition law and regulatory matters, including multi-jurisdictional, EU and UK merger control, foreign direct investment, cartel and abuse of dominance investigations and general competition law advice and compliance matters.

Margarita’s experience spans multiple industry sectors, including pharmaceuticals, telecoms, digital infrastructure, retail & consumer, financial services and energy.

Margarita is dual qualified in England & Wales and Greece (Athens) and has practiced in London, Brussels and Athens, representing clients before the European Commission, the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and various national competition authorities.
