Alex Kaufman is an investment funds partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Alex focuses his practice on the formation, structuring, offering and operation of private equity funds, hybrid funds, separately managed accounts and co-investment vehicles. He represents large global and US-focused fund sponsors with a wide range of investment strategies across asset classes, including buyout, growth equity, GP stakes, sports and media, direct lending and real estate credit. In addition, Alex represents institutional clients on a variety of other securities law and corporate transactional matters.
