Kim Kaufman is an investment funds partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Kim's practice covers a wide variety of the registered funds industry. Her representations include open-and closed-end funds, tender offer and interval funds, exchange-traded funds and business development companies. Kim has significant experience advising investment company boards in both routine and special matters, including with respect to shareholder activism and corporate acquisitions.

Kim's practice has recently focused on the formation and offering of alternative investment products with an investment focus in private credit and private equity.
