Alexa Kissinger is an associate in the Government, Regulatory & Internal Investigations Practice Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
Having served as a White House staffer, Alexa brings her strong government experience to bear when guiding clients through high-stakes congressional and federal government investigations. She regularly provides strategic counsel to major tech companies, financial institutions, and other industry-leading clients facing corporate crises and high-stakes reputational matters. She has deep experience in advising clients in connection with public affairs challenges and regularly prepares CEOs and other senior executives to appear before Congress. With a practice often driven by headline risk matters, she is well-versed in handling parallel inquiries by congressional committees and government agencies, and in litigation.
Before joining Kirkland, Alexa served as the 2020 Biden campaign’s Deputy Director of Voter Protection in Florida. After the general election, she led part of the legal voter protection team through the Georgia recounts. Before law school, Alexa worked in the Obama White House and on the 2012 presidential campaign.
After attending Harvard Law School, Alexa served as a fellow at the Public Defender Service for D.C. She clerked for Judge Robert L. Wilkins on the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
