Since joining Kirkland, Dana has worked on the following matters, advising:
A London-based private equity firm in a Commercial Court dispute against the purchaser of two of its portfolio mines in Brazil following the termination of a US$1 billion transaction.
An American private equity firm in a dispute before the English and Spanish Courts relating to its acquisition of a multibillion Euro portfolio of distressed real estate assets in Spain.
A Fortune 500 company in four ICC arbitrations.
McDermott International in High Court proceedings to secure the successful sanction of its contested Restructuring Plan in the UK, which resulted in the amendment and extension of US$2.6 billion of secured debt and the extinguishment of $2 billion of litigation and arbitration liabilities.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Dana worked on the following matters:
Acted as global monitoring counsel for a multinational insurance company, advising on defence strategy in multi-billion dollar proceedings in numerous jurisdictions including the United States and England and Wales.
