Since joining Kirkland, Dana has worked on the following matters, advising:

• A London-based private equity firm in a Commercial Court dispute against the purchaser of two of its portfolio mines in Brazil following the termination of a US$1 billion transaction.
• An American private equity firm in a dispute before the English and Spanish Courts relating to its acquisition of a multibillion Euro portfolio of distressed real estate assets in Spain.
• A Fortune 500 company in four ICC arbitrations.
• McDermott International in High Court proceedings to secure the successful sanction of its contested Restructuring Plan in the UK, which resulted in the amendment and extension of US$2.6 billion of secured debt and the extinguishment of $2 billion of litigation and arbitration liabilities.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Dana worked on the following matters:

• Acted as global monitoring counsel for a multinational insurance company, advising on defence strategy in multi-billion dollar proceedings in numerous jurisdictions including the United States and England and Wales.
