Overview

Ethan Levinton is a litigation partner in the Dallas office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He has broad experience in class action, commercial litigation, consumer protection, employment, civil liberties, antitrust, intellectual property and white-collar matters. He has served as counsel to clients in a wide variety of industries from the early days of crisis management and internal investigation through trial.

Ethan has particular experience representing clients in investigations and litigation matters involving privacy and cyber security against the Federal Trade Commission, the United States Department of Justice and private plaintiffs pursuing various causes of action under state and federal law including the False Claims Act.

Ethan also has experience representing and advising clients on internal and government investigations including matters before the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the United States Department of Justice, the Federal Reserve Board and the New York Department of Financial Services.
