Overview

Megan McGlynn Butler is a litigation partner in Kirkland’s Washington, D.C., office with a focus on complex litigation at the trial and appellate levels. Megan’s litigation experience spans antitrust, commercial contract, fraud, false-advertising and administrative law. She has helped obtain successful outcomes for her clients at all stages of litigation, and several of her cases have been profiled by The American Lawyer as part of its “Litigator of the Week” contest. Before joining Kirkland, Megan clerked for Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh of the U.S. Supreme Court, Chief Judge William H. Pryor Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and Judge Dabney L. Friedrich of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
