Overview

Caitlin Meagher-Kreisel is an associate in the Environmental Transactions Practice Group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in the Washington, D.C., office. She advises clients on environmental issues across a range of industries, primarily regarding environmental liabilities and the treatment of environmental risks in the context of corporate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, real estate transactions, and financing transactions. Caitlin has experience in conducting environmental due diligence, negotiating purchase, lease, and credit agreements, managing environmental consultants and securing environmental insurance coverage for environmentally sensitive businesses and properties.

Caitlin maintains an active pro bono practice, which includes representing families in special education matters and volunteering for non-partisan election protection organizations during the 2020, 2022 and 2024 election cycles.
