Samantha R. Morelli
Overview
Samantha Morelli is a partner in the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her practice focuses on a wide range of antitrust matters including federal and state government review of mergers and acquisitions, civil litigation, government investigations, and compliance counseling. Samantha regularly represents clients before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division.
Samantha began her career as an attorney in the Mergers I Division of the FTC's Bureau of Competition, where she gained experience investigating and analyzing transactions in the healthcare, industrial, and technology industries. Among other assignments, she played an integral role in the FTC's investigation of several high-profile transactions, including Linde/Praxair and Teva/Allergan.
