Ashlee Newman is a partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group based in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Ashlee's practice focuses on the formation, structuring, management and marketing of private investment funds. Ashlee has experience advising both emerging and established sponsors at each stage of a fund's lifecycle across a variety of investment strategies and investment products, including but not limited to, co-investment funds, funds-of-one and master-feeder structures. Ashlee also has significant experience assisting clients with fund operational matters, such as investment structuring. She has also been involved in complex transactions such as fund sponsor acquisitions and minority stake sales.
