James Robinson is a partner in the Washington, D.C. ,office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and a general litigator who has a focus in highly complex commercial cases. He practices in a wide range of industries and subject areas — including antitrust, class-action defense, contractual disputes, criminal investigations and trials, products liability, and restructuring — and represents clients from pre-litigation counseling and investigation, through briefing and discovery, and to trial and appeal, as necessary. James has handled high-stakes litigation matters for clients such as Allergan, Apple, Anthem, Chesapeake, Gulfport, Hess and ZF.
