August Sangese is a corporate partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. August focuses his practice on the formation, structuring and management of a variety of private equity funds, hedge funds, credit funds, hybrid funds, co-investment funds, fund-of-funds, funds-of-one and seed capital funds. He also advises leading global investment firms in their investment management M&A transactions, including minority investments, seed capital transactions, and strategic partnership arrangements. He also advises clients on complex management company “upper tier” arrangements, general corporate governance and regulatory matters affecting fund sponsors.
