Overview

Matthew Schaible is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He has experience advising clients in connection with various congressional and federal government investigations, including preparing senior executives to appear before Congress, and he has secured favorable outcomes for clients at trial in D.C. Superior Court and in connection with various veterans’ benefits matters. Matthew has also advised clients on complex and evolving legal issues relating to ESG as they have nave navigated the legal risks and opportunities related to ESG across the investment and operational life cycles.

Matthew has over a decade of experience in Washington, D.C., including on the Harris for President and Hillary for America presidential campaigns, and at the nation’s leading LGBTQ advocacy organization. While at Georgetown Law, he worked at the Human Rights Campaign, and later served as a law clerk for the Office of Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco and in the White House Counsel’s Office during the Biden-Harris Administration.
