Matthew Schaible is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He has experience advising clients in connection with various congressional and federal government investigations, including preparing senior executives to appear before Congress, and he has secured favorable outcomes for clients at trial in D.C. Superior Court and in connection with various veterans’ benefits matters. Matthew has also advised clients on complex and evolving legal issues relating to ESG as they have nave navigated the legal risks and opportunities related to ESG across the investment and operational life cycles.
Prior to joining the Firm, Matthew worked for nearly a decade in Washington, D.C., in LGBTQ advocacy, campaign, and technology spaces. While at Georgetown Law, he worked at the Human Rights Campaign, and served as a law clerk for the Office of the Deputy Attorney General and the White House Counsel’s Office.
