Since joining Kirkland, Will has worked on the following representative matters:
Advising global travel business in connection with its €1.2 billion comprehensive recapitalisation.
Lead associate advising global manufacturing business in connection with its €1.4 billion recapitalisation and transfer to lender ownership.
Lead associate advising the ad hoc committee of first lien noteholders in respect of the successful recapitalisation of the Matalan Group (Corporate Rescue of the Year – Legal, TRI Awards, 2023).
Lead associate advising a global homeware manufacturer in respect of its €550 million balance sheet recapitalisation.
Lead associate advising Hilding Anders in connection with its recapitalisation implemented via a UK scheme of arrangement.
Advising in respect of a number of bridge and interim financings leading into restructurings and recapitalisations including by way of turnover arrangements, structural seniority, “double dip” structures and unrestricted subsidiary financings.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Will worked on the following representative matters:
Company voluntary arrangement proposed by an operating subsidiary of The Restaurant Group Plc, a leading company in the UK’s casual dining market.
$7.1 billion restructuring of Valaris Plc via Chapter 11 and English pre-pack administration.
$2.2 billion restructuring of the Danaos Corporation on behalf of a secured bank lender.
Comprehensive $12.8 billion restructuring of Seadrill Limited implemented via Chapter 11.
