Overview

Seema Sidhu is an associate in the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Seema advises clients on a range of antitrust matters, including merger control, compliance and competition litigation.

Before joining Kirkland, Seema practiced at a leading Canadian law firm, where she assisted clients in navigating complex competition and foreign investment regulatory frameworks. She has experience preparing merger notifications for transitions across various industries, including transportation, technology, financial services and real estate investment trusts. Seema also has experience engaging directly with regulators to secure merger clearances and providing strategic counsel on regulatory risks.

Seema has advised pharmaceutical and other industry clients on anti-competitive practices, including abuse of dominance, pricing strategies and market entry considerations. She has prepared regulatory complaints related to monopolization and tied selling, conducted corporate compliance reviews and developed compliance programs for clients.

Seema earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
