Overview

Lorenza A. Vassallo is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. As an internationally trained associate, Lorenza’s practice focuses on cross-border government compliance and investigations matters, as well as complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. She has served clients in a wide range of industries, including technology, fintech, and banking, and has experience with matters involving several federal agencies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Lorenza also maintains an active pro bono practice, working with clients on asylum matters, with a focus on representing members of the LGBTQ+ community, and assisting families with housing conditions matters.

Lorenza graduated from Georgetown University Law Center with the Highest Academic Average in Master of Laws (General) and also graduated from the University of Lucerne, Switzerland, with a Master of Law and Bachelor of Law with distinction.
