Insulin Pricing Litigation: Represent Eli Lilly and Company in federal multidistrict litigation and state-court actions brought by state attorneys general, private plaintiffs and putative classes, alleging RICO, antitrust and state consumer protection laws relating to the price of insulin.
Kelley v. 3M: Represented 3M in a plaintiff-pick bellwether trial alleging that 3M’s Combat Arms Earplug was defective and caused her to suffer hearing damage. Won a unanimous, complete defense verdict following a two-week, eight-person jury trial.
Paragon Litigation Trust v. Noble Corporation PLC, et al.: Represented plaintiff Paragon in multibillion-dollar challenge to Noble’s spinoff of Paragon in 2014 as fraudulent conveyance. Case settled after defendant filed for bankruptcy.
Pulse v. Visa: Represented plaintiff Pulse in multibillion-dollar antitrust challenge to Visa’s practices in the debit network industry.
Raqqa v. Scientific Games: Represented Scientific Games International, Inc., in putative class action alleging fraud and consumer protection claims relating to the printing of lottery tickets.
In re Valaris plc: Represented Valaris plc and affiliates in their Chapter 11 cases. the company successfully completed its restructuring of over $7.1 billion of funded indebtedness in six months.
