Shinong Wang is a registered foreign lawyer in Hong Kong and a partner in Kirkland & Ellis LLP (U.S.). He represents clients in structuring and formation of private investment funds, co-investment arrangements and separate accounts. Shinong also represents institutional investors in their investments in private investment funds, separate accounts, co-investments and secondary transactions. In addition, Shinong represents clients in secondary transactions, including GP-led recapitalization/continuation of investment funds.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Shinong spent a few years in the U.S. working in leading International law firms. His representative past clients include Alibaba Group, Baring Private Equity Asia, CDH Investments, China Life, Centurium Capital, Blackstone Group, Carlyle Group, HarbourVest Partners, Navis Capital Partners, Pantheon Ventures, Principle Capital, Sequoia Capital, Starwood Capital Group, VIG Partners.
