Since joining Kirkland, Zach has been involved in the following matters:

• Represented CyrusOne on securing a $687.1 million Single Asset Single Borrower Commercial Mortgage-Backed Security (CMBS) loan for CyrusOne’s DFW1 data center, the company’s inaugural CMBS issuance.
• Represented CyrusOne on a $7.9 billion U.S. warehouse facility and $1.8 billion revolving credit facility, bringing the total debt capital raised to approximately $9.7 billion.
• Represented Varde Partners in connection with the acquisition of two master planned communities.
• Represented private equity firm on a $360 million loan, which was used to finance a portfolio of 10 hotel assets located in California, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, South Carolina and Washington, D.C., along with a $90 million accordion that may be used to fund future acquisitions.
• Represented a real estate start-up in connection with several SFR financings.
• Represented CyrusOne in connection with a $276 million financing to fund construction and operations of two of CyrusOne’s data centers in Houston, Texas.
• Represented CyrusOne in a $701 million asset-backed securitization of a portfolio of data centers located in Virginia and Texas.
• Represented global investment management firm in a real estate financing, secured by real estate located in New York, New York.
• Represented a fund manager in the negotiation of an office leased located in Boston, Massachusetts.
• Represented KKR in the acquisition and simultaneous financing of various industrial assets throughout the United States.
• Represented private equity fund sponsor in the financing of two portfolios.
• Represented a real estate private equity fund in the disposition of an industrial portfolio in Texas.
• Represented a real estate investment firm in the acquisition of a multifamily portfolio in Florida.
• Represented an alternative real estate investment firm in the purchase of notes to facilitate the acquisition of several commercial real estate assets.
• Coordinated real estate efforts in connection with several corporate transactions.  

Prior to joining Kirkland, Zach was involved in the following matters:

• Represented a real estate investor in the acquisition and simulatenous mortgage financing of a multifamily asset in Houston, Texas.
• Represented a real estate fund in the preferred equity investment to a joint venture for the acquisition and simulatenous financing of multifamily assets in Washington, New Jersey and Colorado.
• Represented a real estate investor in the refinancing of two office properties in Washington, D.C., and Virginia.
• Represented a real estate investor in the negotiation of property management agreements for a portfolio of properties in the DMV area.
• Represented a Fortune 500 company in the acquisition of an office building in Dallas, Texas.
• Represented portfolio companies of a Dallas-based private equity firm in the leasing of multiple office and industrial properties in Texas, California, New York and Illinois.
• Counseled several real estate investors on Texas law governed loan documents.
