Overview

Carson Young is a trial lawyer and litigation partner in Kirkland's Dallas office. Carson's practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, and he has briefed and argued cases in state and federal courts across the country. He has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of contract, intellectual property, insurance recovery, antitrust and securities matters.   

Carson earned his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Texas Law Review. During law school, Carson received the Jones Day Best Brief Award and was a semi-finalist in the national Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Carson worked for a prominent national trial boutique.
