LMG Life Sciences Awards 2020

Legal Media Group honored Kirkland & Ellis with three awards at the eighth annual Life Sciences Awards. Kirkland litigation partner Jim Hurst was named “General Patent Litigator of the Year – Midwest.” The Firm was also honored with an Impact Deal of the Year Award for its work advising Bristol-Myers Squibb Company on the agreement with Amgen for Amgen to acquire the global rights to Celgene Corporation’s OTEZLA® (apremilast) for $13.4 billion. Additionally, Kirkland was honored with an Impact Case of the Year Award for its work advising Abbott Laboratories in Enzo Life Sciences, Inc. v. Roche Molecular Systems, Inc., et al.
