Kirkland Recognized at Bon Foster Civil Rights Celebration

Kirkland & Ellis has been recognized at Lambda Legal’s Bon Foster Civil Rights Celebration event in Chicago. The event honored Kirkland for its longtime commitment to LGBTQ+ equality. Kirkland & Ellis partner Vanessa Barsanti accepted the award on behalf of the Firm.

The Bon Foster Civil Rights Celebration honors the memory of Robert Bonvoulior “Bon” Foster, the late civil rights activist and attorney. Bon was a powerful voice in Chicago in the early days of the HIV epidemic, who led on opposing injustice and resisting discrimination.
