Corporate Equality Index 2023-24

Kirkland & Ellis received a 100 percent score on the 2023-24 Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. This is the 16th year in a row the Firm received a perfect score on the CEI.

“We’re honored to once again have received this distinction for our inclusive culture and efforts to ensure equality for our LGBTQ+ employees and the greater LGBTQ+ community,” said Ashley Gregory, co-chair of Kirkland’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. “We’ll continue to foster a Firmwide culture that gathers strength from our differences and promotes true belonging.”

The 2023-24 CEI rated 1,384 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ+-related policies and practices, including non-discrimination workplace protections, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ employees and their families, an inclusive workplace culture and efforts to support the LGBTQ+ community.
