Two Kirkland Employees Receive City Bar Justice Center’s 2024 Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award

The City Bar Justice Center (CBJC) awarded associate Jordan Elkin and practice assistant Nicole Fadel with the 2024 “Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award.” They are two of just nine recipients of this award, selected from the more than 2,000 volunteers who worked with the City Bar Justice Center this past year. 

Jordan and Nicole were honored for their work with the CBJC’s Consumer Bankruptcy Project, which advises New Yorkers struggling with consumer debt on their options and eligibility to file for bankruptcy relief.

In observance of the American Bar Association’s National Pro Bono Week, City Bar Justice Center’s “Celebrate Pro Bono Awards” ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
