Corporate Equality Index 2025

Kirkland & Ellis received a 100 percent score on the 2025 Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. This is the 17th year in a row the Firm received a perfect score on the CEI.

“We feel tremendously honored to receive this distinction every single year,” said Ashley Gregory, co-chair of Kirkland’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. “For the past 17 years, we’ve promoted a culture of belonging and offered inclusive benefits for LGBTQ+ employees, and we look forward to continuing this level of support in the years to come.”

The 2025 CEI rated 1,449 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ+-related policies and practices, including non-discrimination workplace protections, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ employees and their families, an inclusive workplace culture and efforts to support the LGBTQ+ community.
