Partners Adam Alper and Michael De Vries Named Top IP Lawyers for 2025 by The Daily Journal

The Daily Journal named Kirkland partners Adam Alper and Michael De Vries to its 2025 list of “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers,” which recognizes California attorneys for their impact on intellectual property and the development of law.

Adam and Mike were recognized for securing successful jury verdicts on behalf of Samsung and Motorola.

“It’s a lot of work, but trials are exciting and that’s what we live for,” Adam told The Daily Journal. “We’d never complain about being in the courtroom too much.”

Adam and Mike have three more trials scheduled for the coming months. “There are more cases, and they’re getting more intense,” Mike said.
