UbiquiTel Relies on Kirkland & Ellis LLP For $1.3 Billion Deal

Kirkland & Ellis LLP is advising UbiquiTel Inc. (NASDAQ: UPCS) in its acquisition by Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE: S) for approximately $1.3 billion, including the assumption of about $300 million of net debt.

The Kirkland deal team was led by partners R. Scott Falk and Robert M. Hayward along with associate Roger D. Rhoten.
