Kirkland & Ellis Represents Zebra Technologies in $3.45B Deal for Motorola's Enterprise Business
Kirkland & Ellis represented Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), which announced today that it entered into a definitive agreement with Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI) to acquire Motorola’s Enterprise business for $3.45 billion in an all-cash transaction. The acquisition will be funded through a combination of cash on hand and new debt. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions including regulatory approvals, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2014.
