Kirkland & Ellis Represents KKR in Transaction for Ticket Monster from Groupon

Kirkland & Ellis LLP represents KKR who, together with Anchor Equity Partners and Ticket Monster management, today announced they had agreed to jointly acquire a controlling interest in Ticket Monster, a Korean ecommerce company currently owned by Groupon. The transaction is based on a $782 million fully diluted valuation of Ticket Monster and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2015. 

The Kirkland team was led by corporate partners Sean Rodgers and Leo Greenberg and associates Laura Sullivan, Lauren Rakower and Dylan Hanson, tax partner Dean Shulman and associate Adam Kool and executive compensation partners Scott Price and Michael Krasonvsky and associate Andrew Barton.
