Kirkland Advises ABC Supply on Purchase of L&W Supply from USG for $670 Million

Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised ABC Supply Co., Inc., the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of roofing, siding, windows and gutter materials, on its definitive agreement to acquire USG Corp.’s (NYSE: USG) building product distribution business, L&W Supply Corp., for a total cash consideration of $670 million. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to close before the end of 2016. The full release is available here.
