Kirkland Advises EIG on Investment in NextEra Midstream Assets
Kirkland & Ellis advised EIG Global Energy Partners on its definitive agreements with NextEra Energy Partners LP (NYSE: NEP) to acquire $750 million in equity interests in South Texas Midstream, LLC, a newly-formed joint venture with NEP. South Texas Midstream will own and operate a portfolio of seven natural gas transportation pipelines and related assets in Texas. The transaction closed on December 4.
