Kirkland Represents Huatai Financial on Privatization of Huarong Investment Stock by Huarong International Financial

Kirkland & Ellis is advising Huatai Financial Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited, as financial adviser to Huarong International Financial Holdings Limited (HKSE: 993) (HRIF) on the proposed privatization of Huarong Investment Stock Corporation Limited (HKSE: 2277) (HRIV). The transaction was announced on July 6, 2020.  

The privatization will be implemented by way of a scheme of arrangement involving a conditional share exchange offer in which shares of HRIF will be offered as consideration for the cancellation of the shares of HRIV.
