Kirkland Advises Fox Corporation on JV with Gordon Ramsay
Kirkland & Ellis advised Fox Corporation on their joint venture with chef, restaurateur and presenter Gordon Ramsay to jointly form STUDIO RAMSAY GLOBAL, a new production entity co-owned between the two that will develop, produce and distribute culinary and lifestyle programming worldwide. As part of the deal, Fox Corporation will acquire 100% of Ramsay’s existing production business. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Kirkland team was led by corporate partner Stuart Boyd, corporate associates Victoria Legg, Andrew Mon and technology & IP associates John Patten and Alex Robinson in London, with assistance from corporate partner Francisco J. Morales Barron in New York and litigation partner Marcus Thompson and associate Ed Malcolm in London.
