Kirkland Represents Poema on Business Combination with Gogoro
Kirkland & Ellis advised Poema Global Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: PPGH), a special purpose acquisition company affiliated with Princeville Capital, on its business combination with Gogoro Inc., a global technology leader in battery swapping ecosystems that enable sustainable mobility solutions for cities. The business combination sets Gogoro's enterprise value at $2.35 billion. Upon closing of the transaction, the combined company will list on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker symbol “GGR”. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
