Kirkland Advises BroadLight Capital on Minority Investment from Azimut Alternative Capital Partners
Kirkland & Ellis advised BroadLight Capital, a private equity investment firm focused on high-growth, innovative companies across the global technology and consumer landscape, in a strategic minority investment in its business by funds managed by Azimut Alternative Capital Partners, a subsidiary of Azimut Group (AZM.MI), one of Europe’s largest independent asset managers. The transaction will provide BroadLight with permanent capital to grow and invest in its business.
BroadLight was founded in 2021 by partners David Dorfman, who has over 21 years of investment and merchant banking experience, Rick Yorn, the CEO and Founder of LBI Entertainment, and Kevin Yorn, the Managing and Founding Partner of Yorn Levine, a prominent entertainment law firm.
