Kirkland Advises HPS on Majority Investment in Nucleus
Kirkland & Ellis is advising HPS Investment Partners (“HPS”), a leading global investment firm with over $80 billion of assets under management, on the financing for the proposed majority investment by funds and accounts managed and/or advised by HPS in Nucleus, a leading investment platform provider. HPS will work alongside existing shareholder Epiris to further Nucleus’ vision to build the leading retirement-focused investment platform for financial advisors in the UK.
The transaction, which remains subject to regulatory approval, is expected to close in the second half of 2022 and the terms of the financing are confidential.
