Investment Funds Partner David Sherman Returns to Kirkland & Ellis

Kirkland & Ellis announced today that David Sherman is rejoining the Firm as a partner in the Investment Funds Group.

“David has an excellent reputation as a senior lawyer in the investment funds space with substantial experience leading fundraises across various investment strategies, and we’re excited to welcome him back to Kirkland,” said Jon A. Ballis, Chairman of Kirkland’s Executive Committee.

Mr. Sherman has been a trusted advisor to a range of prominent private equity sponsors across all areas of investment fund formation, upper-tier arrangements and fund operations for almost 15 years. He has been acknowledged for his fund formation experience in leading industry publications including Chambers USA and the Legal 500 U.S.
