Kirkland Advises Specialty Network on Decision to be Acquired by Cardinal Health for $1.2 Billion
Kirkland & Ellis counseled Specialty Networks, a technology-enabled multi-specialty group purchasing and practice enhancement organization, on its definitive agreement to be acquired by Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH) for $1.2 billion in cash. Specialty Networks creates clinical and economic value for independent specialty providers and partners across multiple specialty GPOs: UroGPO, Gastrologix and GastroGPO and United Rheumatology.
The Kirkland team was led by corporate partners Brett Nelson and Bob Wilson and associate Laura Nance; debt finance partners Tom Dobleman and Daniel Schwimmer; and tax partner Chris Worek.
