Kirkland Advises EP Global Commerce on Delisting of METRO and Agreement with Other Anchor Shareholders

Kirkland & Ellis is advising EP Global Commerce GmbH (“EPGC”) on a public delisting acquisition offer for all outstanding shares in METRO AG and a related post-delisting shareholders’ agreement with other anchor shareholders of METRO AG.

EPGC is an acquisition vehicle controlled by Daniel Křetínský. The company was founded in April 2016 and is based in Prague. EPGC currently holds 49.99% of the ordinary shares and voting rights in METRO AG.
